Lake View’s Home Field Could Be the Difference in Season Opener

The Lake View Chiefs kickoff their 2022 season against Lamesa tonight at 7pm at San Angelo Stadium. Home field advantage has made a difference in the series with the home team winning every game the past four years. Lamesa finished 4-6 last season but fifth place in their district. The Chiefs beat Lamesa 35-8 in their last meeting in San Angelo in 2020. Lake View is 2-3 in season openers under head coach Hector Guevara.
