The City of San Angelo is alerting residents about fraudulent invoices sent by scammers posing as the City’s Permit Office.The fake invoices instruct recipients to send wire transfers to process a permit application. Customers should know that the City of San Angelo will never request payment through wire transfer.
Residents are urged to use caution with any unexpected invoice or payment request. Anyone with questions about a City permit bill or payment should call or 325-657-4210 to confirm its validity.
