Bobcats Breeze to 3rd in a Row; Chiefs Fall Short in First Loss

The San Angelo Central Bobcats dominated Waco High 48-6, and the Bobcats have won three straight games and improve to 3-2. The Bobcats led 28-6 at halftime and Central’s defense forced three turnovers. Central’s Gavin Johnson returned a kickoff for a touchdown. The Bobcats are off this week before they start district play on October 10^th…the Lake View Chiefs nearly pulled off an improbable comeback, but Lake View suffered their first loss in a 40-33 setback to Levelland. The Chiefs were down 33-13 late in the third quarter but the Chiefs cut it to a one-score game twice. On the final play of the game, Lake View had a game-tying pass into the endzone fall incomplete. The Chiefs are 4-1 and wrap up their homestand against Burnet this Friday.
