District play kicks off the Central Bobcats after their bye week. The Bobcats host Midland Legacy at 7:30pm on Friday. The Bobcats are 3-2 while Legacy is 1-4 but two of the Rebels’ losses are against top five teams in the state. The Lake View Chiefs look for momentum in their final non-district game at Brownfield on Friday. The Chiefs are coming off back-to-back losses, but Lake View will face a Brownfield squad who’s lost 18 consecutive games. Lake View won last year 43-6 over Brownfield.
