The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office has announced that deputies seized over a pound of meth and arrested one individual during a recent traffic stop. Deputies conducted a traffic stop at approximately 1:48 a.m. on Thursday, . During the stop, law enforcement discovered “over 500 grams of methamphetamine,” or over 1.1 pounds of meth. The driver of the vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Antonio Leal of Abilene, was arrested following the stop and now faces charges related to drug trafficking.
