San Angelo Weather Radio is broadcasting a ‘degraded’ signal. If you rely on the the NOAA Weather Radio for weather alerts and updates, you might be experiencing interruptions or even bad signal. NWS San Angelo says recent high winds caused damage the radio transmission tower, leading the signal for the NOAA Weather Radio to be degraded, meaning the broadcast will be very staticky, if heard at all. San Angelo Meteorologist Mike Castillo plans to meet with San Angelo and Tom Green County’s Emergency Management Office to discuss ways of making sure important weather information gets to the public.
