Hemp license holders in Texas are now banned from selling consumable hemp products to anybody under 21. Health and Human Services Commissioner Cecile Erwin Young approved an emergency rule on Friday enacting the ban, effective immediately. Violations could result in the revocation of a license or registration. The emergency ban is in response an executive order from Governor Greg Abbott calling for stricter regulation of THC and CBD products.
