The final day of the summer Channel Catfish stocking will be Friday, Oct. 31; workers will stock catfish for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Neighborhood Fishing Program. Workers will stock the Concho River near the Oakes Street Bridge with 600 nine-inch catfish. The rainbow trout is stocked from late November through February each year in downtown San Angelo and in the NFP site.
