Street maintenance using the HA5 surface treatment is underway across San Angelo through May 19. Affected streets close at 7 a.m. on scheduled days and remain closed for 24 hours after application. City officials say HA5 helps seal asphalt and protect it from sun and moisture, extending the life of roadways. Residents are reminded to turn off sprinklers on their scheduled days and avoid driving on treated streets. Vehicles left on the street during application will be towed and returned at no cost.
