Drivers in San Angelo should be aware of several street closures tied to sewer improvement projects. Portions of West Harris Avenue and Pecos (Pay-cuss) Street will be closed through Friday, while the intersection of Santa Fe Park Drive and Park Drive will close during daytime hours Wednesday. Another long-term closure begins Wednesday on Cottonwood Street between Guadalupe and Caddo Streets and is expected to last through late September. City officials say detours will be posted and access to businesses and residences will be maintained. The work is part of ongoing sanitary sewer system improvements. Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and expect delays.
