The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the grand reopening of the historic Old Central Firehouse Venue and Suites later this month. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for July 24 at the renovated property on South Magdalen Street. Originally built in 1929 as one of San Angelo’s first fire stations, the building later operated as a bed-and-brew and pizzeria before changing ownership this year. The updated venue now offers overnight accommodations and event space. Chamber officials are inviting community members and business leaders to attend. The event marks the beginning of a new chapter for the downtown landmark.
