As we enter February, we are coming down the final stretch of the season for Angelo State basketball. The Belles and Rams will make their longest road trip of the season and travel 1,300 miles over the next three days. The Rams and Belles start their trip tonight at Eastern New Mexico in Portales. Both teams are currently fourth place in the overall Lone Star Conference standings. The ASU Rams, who had five players out last week with injuries, will get a couple players back this week. Eastern New Mexico is 8-4 in the LSC, right behind ASU who is 9-4. The Rams won the first meeting a month ago 88-85 in San Angelo. The Belles are looking to move up the standings this week against two teams who are the bottom. The Belles topped Eastern New Mexico 66-55 on January 6th. Listen to both games tonight on kksa-am.com or on the radio on 1260AM KKSA. The Belles play at 6pm CT followed by the Rams at 8pm CT.
