Over the weekend, the San Angelo Police Department releasing an update regarding the shooting incident that occurred earlier today in the 4400 block of Bermuda Drive. The victim, a 16-year-old male juvenile, died as a result of his injuries sustained during the incident. The suspect, 17-year-old Derek Carson, has been taken into custody and is charged with murder. While a suspect is in custody, the case remains under active investigation by SAPD’s Criminal Investigations Division.
