Joe Self has won the runoff election for San Angelo’s District 2 City Council seat with about 61% of the vote. Turnout was low with only around 5.6% of registered voters casting a ballot. This runoff was a result of neither candidate receiving a majority in the May 3 election. With the win, Self joins other newly elected officials and current members on the San Angelo City Council.
