Three finalists have been named, including Jerry Hendrix, Jud Rex, and Phillip Urrutia. The candidates will meet with the public at a community event on May 26 at the McNease Convention Center. Interviews will take place the following day with city leaders and community representatives. The final decision will be made by the City Council. Valenzuela is set to step down after 14 years of service.
