Keep San Angelo Beautiful is bringing back its popular Tires To Go recycling event in September. The tire collection event will take place September 12 beginning at 8 a.m. at the CRC Roofers Coliseum. Residents can dispose of up to 25 passenger vehicle or pickup truck tires per vehicle. Organizers say rims, tractor tires, and industrial tires will not be accepted. The event is designed to keep unwanted tires out of neighborhoods, waterways, and illegal dump sites. Participants are encouraged to arrive early, as past events have filled up quickly.
