A registered sex offender wanted on multiple warrants is back in custody after a two-day search. The Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office says deputies arrested Colin Blanek in Brownwood after tracking him through investigative and technological resources. Authorities say Blanek was wanted on three felony warrants for sex offender registration violations and had also failed to appear in court on a separate case. Additional warrants related to indecency with a child by exposure were also pending. Sheriff Nick Hanna praised the coordinated effort that led to the arrest. Blanek has been returned to the Tom Green County Detention Center to face the charges against him.
